Construction and specifications
Dutch weave mesh uses shaped openings that aid particle retention and increase filter cake formation.
Plain dutch weave is most used for high-pressure filtration in aerospace, petroleum, chemical, beer and machinery industries.
Twilled reversible dutch mesh
Twilled reversible dutch mesh is woven from high-tensile stainless steel wire in reverse dutch twill pattern and supplied as ribbon/belt form with a standard 10 metre roll.
Also known as belt filter screen, it suits screen changers and auto screen belts; one roll can last many months in non-stop operation.
Ordering guidance
For polymer melt filtration applications (blown film, sheet and film extrusion, pelletizing, BOPP/BOPS), specify mesh count and width.
Belt filter screens for extruders are available in widths from 97 to 400 mm and roll lengths of 10 or 20 metres.
